Thermostatic Valve

Maximum water flow 70 litres/minute

During the valve installation, never strain the fittings, to avoid deterioration of threads or possible gas or oil losses. In order to avoid incorrect operation the sensor element (bulb) must always be fitted below the valve body. The capillary tube, between bulb and valve body, should not be deformed by too narrow bends or angles, to allow free gas passage. The valve is adjusted in order to begin the opening phase around 25°C (77°F) and to complete it around 50°C (122°F). Remaining in this range of values, to increase the opening temperature slightly turn adjusting knob clockwise. If water leakage takes place after the valve has been closed for a time, turn the adjusting knob clockwise until the leak stops.
Note: Periodically check that no calcareous deposits have built up in the system.
