Permanent magnetic couplings for mechanical power transmission

Magnetic Couplngs Operating Performance ATEX Operating temperature ATEX-version on request (with a port for a temperature sensor). The max. operational speed of the GMDO coupling is 3600 rpm. Operational speed A maximum static pressure of 15 bar is allowed in the inside of the containment shroud, or a maximum pulsating pressure of 5 bar. These two values are relative values to the ambient pressure of the coupling location. Higher operating pressures are available on request. The maximum operating temperature is 120°C. Increased temperature results in torque reduction. The diagrams below show the coupling ability is directly effected by operational temperature. One diagram with the magnets in Neodymium (Ne) and the other with magnets in Samarium-Cobalt (SmCo). Operating temperatures exceeding 120°C are available on request.
