The need for a flywheel pilot bearing has been eliminated in the 14 inch size unit shown above. The rubber block drive absorbs the normal misalignment usually found between the engine flywheel and the power take-off input member in an insulation. The rubber block drive uses an aluminium drive ring. The blocks are installed on lugs milled around the circumference of the cast iron mating spider. These blocks are precision molded to involute gear tooth form. Two types of blocks are currently available.
