Cooling and heat exchange available from jbj Techniques Limited

A shell and tube heat exchanger is a device used to transfer heat between two or more fluids. This exchanger consists mainly of a bundle of tubes placed inside a cylindrical vessel called a mantle. This device is crossed by two fluid currents: one current flows inside the tubes, while the other current flows in the bounded space between the inner surface of the mantle and the outer surfaces of the pipes. Standard construction features: » Inner casing and diaphragms: carbon steel. » Lids: cast iron / carbon steel. » Tube bundle: copper. » Working pressure: 10 bar. » Test pressure: 15 bar. » MAX operating temperature: 120°C. Applications » Hydraulic power units. » Machine tools. » Marine engines. » Refrigeration systems. » Compressors. » Industrial plants. Construction features for the marine sector: » Inner casing and diaphragms: carbon steel. » Lids: brass. » Tube bundle: 316 stainless steel. » Operating pressure: 10 bar. » Test pressure: 15 bar. » Max operating temperature: 120°C. 136 Cooling & Heat Exchange RF Series Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger
