Demolition tools are a major application for pressure intensifiers. Concrete bursting equipment where up to 2,500 bar is required to break up concrete.

Attachment tools on excavators are an application typically requiring 700 bar for cutting reinforcement bars and other steel parts.

In attachment tools the intensifiers are built into the circuit ensuring the full flow and pressure is available throughout the cycle and only when higher pressure is required does the intensifier operate.
