Operating
principle
It is the passage of fluid over the set of three screws in the
MPV Flow Meter that causes the device to rotate, unlike the three-screw
pump, which moves a fluid when it is driven by an applied force,
whether it be an electric motor or a PTO of some kind. The special
shape of the screws ensures that their rotation corresponds with
exact volumes, quantitatively determined by a highly dependable
sensor .
The resulting signal, square wave, may be acquired directly by
the PLC or processed by dedicated electronics, the FD20 giving
the most comprehensive results for data analysis |
